The Forum on Mediterranean Food Cultures, starting from May 2010, to re-organize its activities will be managed by Plexus International Forum Onlus, a non profit organization based in Rome. This new creative art & science joint venture travelling on board The Ark of Well-Being is open to new participants. The Forum on Mediterranean Food Cultures is open minds initiative. It started its activities in 2002, in Italy, and it acts as an independent platform of cross-cutting dialogues and actions to advance Mediterranean food cultures, providing a constant flow of information among all participants through its social web community. http://culturesforumed.ning.com/ The Plexus International Forum Onlus was established in 1999 as legal framework of Plexus International, an informal network of scientists and artists. Since early 80s, Plexus International has conceived many creative cross-cutting art & science events and open calls as collaborative community-based efforts to enhance an effective sustainable development for all in the living planet. www.plexusforum.net The Ark of Well Being Project, a traveling exhibition pavilion, was developed in 1995 and staged in various locations around the world. Since 2004, The Erosions and Renaissance Show is travelling on board the Ark calling attention on the dramatic rising of the sea erosion of “the Door of the No Return” of the House of the Slaves, in the island of Goree, Dakar, as symbol of all erosions increasing in the planet, from the erosion of humankind memory and human rights to the erosion of biodiversity. Since 2007, the Ark is present at the CIISCAM International Conferences.
